Where are your fragrances made?
Our fragrances are composed in Grasse, France, then poured, finished and hand-packed in Sussex, England.
How long do your candles burn?
The 240g candle burns for approximately 50 hours and the 380g candle for approximately 70 hours, when cared for properly.
How should I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to 5mm before every lighting. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully to the edge of the vessel — usually two to three hours. Never burn for longer than four hours at a time, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
How do I burn the incense cones?
Place a cone on a heatproof dish, light the tip, allow the flame to catch for around twenty seconds, then gently extinguish it so the cone smoulders. Burn in a ventilated room and never leave unattended.
What wax do you use?
A natural, vegan cocosoy wax blend chosen for a clean, even burn and a true scent throw. No paraffin, no dyes.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Nothing we make is tested on animals, and no animal-derived ingredients are used in our candles or incense.
How much is delivery?
UK Standard Delivery is £6.99 (2–4 working days), Next Day is £14.00 and Saturday is £15.00. All UK orders over £100 receive complimentary Standard Delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently deliver to the European Union, Switzerland and the United States. Local duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Can I return an order?
Yes. Notify us within 14 days of delivery and return the item within a further 14 days, unused and in its original packaging. Please email us before sending anything back.
My order arrived damaged — what should I do?
Email hello@gallowayatelier.com with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the product, inner packaging and outer box. Please keep everything until we've reviewed it.
Do you offer gifting?
Yes. Every order arrives in our house packaging, and gift options are available on our Gifting page.
