How We Make It

Composed slowly. Composed in Grasse.

Every Galloway Atelier fragrance for the home is composed in Grasse, the town in the south of France that has been the centre of perfumery for three hundred years. We work the slow way, because we want to build fragrances with a true sense of meaning. A scent is revised until it moves and shapes the way we feel and changes the space it was ignited in.

Then it comes home to Sussex, where each candle is poured and finished by hand in small batches into a elegant heavy amber-glass vessels, checked and signed off before it's shipped. Slow perfumery isn't a style choice. It's just what it takes to make something worth keeping.
